To Follow and Remember

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7 Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to you by the blood of Christ, bled for the forgiveness of our sins. We come asking for widsom, we know wisdom is from you. we know your way is best. we know we don't always understand it. we long to trust you. please tell us more of who you are and who we are. please tell us more of your way. please help us trust more of your way. please help us trust you even when we cannot see. we don't want to be fools. please help us learn from you all day and whereever your word is presented to us today. we pray for the chapel speaker and our teachers to be able to teach the word well today. please open our minds, hearts and souls to your widsom today. help us to know its from you. amen The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Rejoice in hope,  Be patient in tribulation,  Be constant in prayer.  Romans 12:12 Father,  When we live in hope,  We are telling you that we believe you exist,  And that you are with us,  And that you care for us,  And that you are working for our good.  Give us strength to live beyond the hope we see To the hope that is only in faith.  Help us to be patient in tough times,   In trouble,  When we don’t understand.  I’m sure Joseph was concerned when his brothers threw him in a pit, I’m sure Daniel was concerned when he was surrounded by lions,  I’m sure Jesus was concerned when he was praying in the garden,   But help us remember Joseph became the source of bread during famine for the world,  Daniel caused a pagan king to worship you,  And Jesus rose to life and is exalted above all.  Please Lord help us to trust you when we cannot see.  And ...

For from him And through him  And to him Are all things. To Him be glory forever and ever! Amen.  Romans 11:36 Gracious Father,  We recognize these friendships are from you,  We recognize these opportunities are from you.  And we thank you.  We ask you help with them,  We want your power for help.  To show love And kindness And forgiveness And encouragement.  We want your help with  Our actions Our prayers  Our words.  So that you will receive glory  And honor.  We want to live our lives to point to you  And show the world your character.  Amen. 

Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory,  because of your love and faithfulness.  Psalm 115:1 Oh Lord,  please be gracious  to allow us to show the world your glory through our relationships.  please allow us to tell the world of your love of your kindness of your forgiveness of your patience of your generosity of your favor of your faithfulness through our relationships. Father although these people  make us happy,  please help us to keep you  in our front ambition and help us to spread your glory. amen.
